To the southwest of Knoxville, interstates 40 (coming west from Nashville) and 75 (coming south from Chattanooga) combine into one. They divide once again just 2 miles west of downtown at the junction of I-40/75 with I-640 (the bypass around town). Between these two junctions the combined I-40 / I-75 intersects the Pellissippi Parkway extension (a.k.a. I-140). Take the Pellissippi Parkway east towards Maryville and the Airport. This interchange is in west Knoxville, between the Campbell Station Road and Cedar Bluff Road exits on I-40/75. Get off the Pellissippi Extension (I-140) at the Northshore Drive exit. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Northshore. Go through two sets of traffic lights. The second set of lights should be Ebenezer Road. Just past Ebenezer, Northshore goes from four lanes to two lanes. Pass both Grace Seventh Day Adventist Church on your left and the large brick entrance to an upmarket subdivision. About 100-150 yards after this, you will see a sign reading "Little Creek" and "LCS" on your left atop a small rocky fountain. We have a yard sign saying "Covenant Reformed Church" at the base of the LCS sign. Turn left here. Drive up the hill. The nursing home will be the first large building on the right. Drive past it. Continue up the hill staying toward your left. The chapel building is in the very back of the property. You may park in the lot directly behind or in front of the Chapel. Please do not park directly in front of the nursing home on the top level since these spots are reserved for those visiting patients. We meet at 10:30 AM for worship. |
